TRATAKA + METTA MEDITATION

Join us in an intimate circle around the fire for a trataka + metta meditation.

The practice of Trataka meditation has been associated with a number of benefits, including enhanced concentration + focus, and reduced stress and anxiety. Scientific studies have backed up Trataka’s ability to reduce anxiety, tension + depression, decrease heart rate, and boost concentration and memory. Trataka is of the shatkarmas (yoga cleansing practices) having a cleansing effect on both the eyes and the cerebral cortex, balancing the nervous system and relieving the symptoms of insomnia, as well as other mental health issues.

Metta is an active form of meditation where instead of focusing on the breath, we are focusing on sending benevolent thoughts out into the world. We visualize that the people, animals, and everything that shares space with us here on planet Earth is touched by our energy.

This evening will be powerful. Since this is held at my property, exact location will be provided via email after registration. Includes a cup of mushroom cacao or herbal tea.
